When the research teams partnered to form a single I-HeLTI Collaborative Team they established the I-HeLTI Collaborating Centre (CC)operating from the Alberta First Nations Information Governance Centre (Alberta FNIGC). The Centre supports the wide range of activities required to conduct this unified, Indigenous-led, project. The Centre also plays a key role in overseeing and stewarding the collective data generated from both the cross-sectional and intervention cohort studies. Beyond supporting the I-HeLTI cohort, the Centre serves a space for ongoing learning and knowledge-sharing to inform Indigenous research across Canada and beyond.
